With so many new blogs poppin’ up every single day and all the noise in the online world, it can sometimes be difficult to find your “core” group of blogs that you like to read and bloggers with whom you connect and have things in common.
When I first started blogging, I found it hard to find other blogs within my niche, and I couldn’t always easily relate to other bloggers online. #introvertproblems

Thankfully, it does get easier, and I gradually started “meeting” other female bloggers who I admired and looked up to.
And you know what happened?
Blogging became a lot more fun.
More opportunities for fun collabs and projects came my way.
I felt more inspired in general.
And suddenly things started to click for me.
Blogging isn’t meant to be a one-way street, just you, typing away into the Internet void. Blogging isn’t meant to be a lonely pursuit. It’s a journey that takes you places you never would have imagined you’d be, and sometimes you don’t always have control over how you get there. 😉
You will be pushed far outside of your comfort zone (if you allow this, which I highly recommend you do), and come out a better person for it.
Over the past year, I’ve gotten to know so many amazing ladies through social media and my blog. They’ve made this blogging adventure of mine so much more rewarding, whether through conversations on Twitter or just through reading their blogs.
One of my new blogging friends, Taylor over at The Millennial Sprinkle, recently nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award. Thanks so much again, girlfriend; I’m so happy we connected! Go show her some love, fam—her blog has so much goodness on life as a twenty-something, such as 7 Courses I Wish They Taught In College and Where to Actually Find the Resources and Why You Should Love Yourself First.
Now, it’s my turn.

I sat down and quickly listed around 10 bloggers whose content I really love. Then, I wrote down 5 more and found that I was having a hard time narrowing it down to such a small number. Without realizing it, over the last few months I’ve become well-acquainted with so many incredible women. How awesome is it to be able to meet such cool people through your blog?
Just think about it. How many blog friends can you think of by name, without having to reference their website or Instagram handle? Just because you know them so well or have been following them for so long?

7 Facts About Me
1 | I used to hate my curly hair growing up and would fight to tame the wild beast for years. I finally learned to embrace my biracial curls a few years ago, but my hair still calls the shots.
2 | Lorelai Gilmore is my spirit animal. Even though I’m an introvert, I like to think my sass and wit matches Lorelai’s. At least, that’s what I tell myself. ♫”Where youuuu lead, I will fooooollow…”♪
3 | I’m a HUGE history buff and sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong century. I know I’d look just darling in a hoop skirt.
4 | When I was about 5 year old, Titanic was my favorite movie (still is), and I had a cassette tape with “My Heart Will Go On” on it. Almost daily, I would sit on my dining room table and belt out this song at the top of my lungs over and over again, perfecting my Céline Dion accent.
5 | I was homeschooled for 9 years by my grandmother (from 4th grade all the way through high school).
6 | I’m obsessed with graphic design and typography and randomly toy with the idea of creating my own designs to sell. Maybe introvert-themed designs? Be still my heart.
7 | I’ve never met a french fry or chocolate chip cookie I didn’t like.
