“a slender, threadlike appendage of a climbing plant, often growing in a spiral form, that stretches out and twines around any suitable support”
“living in a state of nature and not ordinarily tame or domesticated”
Most people think of introverts as meek and shy, but I believe there is a wild potential inside us that is just begging to be set free. Introverts are like a tendril of a vine: we are able to grow and flourish when given the right support and encouragement.
Tendril Wild is a haven in the making—a safe space, a close-knit, warm, and open-minded community of young women talking through popular concerns affecting us in our current society, helping each other work through a variety of issues, from the potentially embarrassing to the beautifully liberating.
Self Care: I started to develop a love of self care when I was still a teenager, and self care is now something I try to intentionally practice on the daily. What I love most about self care is that it looks different for everyone and can be molded to fit whatever it is you currently need. Seasons change in life (much more often than we like!), but thankfully, your self care routine can change with you and help you catch your breath. Some of my favorite areas of self care are:
Health & Beauty—I’m a certified “product junkie” (I blame the curly hair…I’ve tried literally everything to tame the beast!), and I love getting my paws on the newest products in the health and makeup industries. I really enjoy testing out new things and reviewing them…so you don’t have to!
Self Love—I believe a healthy self care routine is built on a solid foundation of self love. If you don’t love yourself, you won’t feel motivated to care for yourself properly. Self love is a lifelong journey that we’re all on, and once you understand how to love yourself better, you’re able to show others how to love you. #realtalk Learn more about your love language and how it can influence your relationships—for better or worse.
Productivity—I’ve found that the more organized my space is around me, the more peace I feel on the inside…and the more sane I appear to others. You’ll find a few helpful tips I’ve learned to be my most productive.
Personality: As a female INTJ, I’m a rare form of introvert. 😉 Over the past few years, I’ve started to realize just how important it is that you know yourself and be that. I’m slowly starting to appreciate what being an introvert is and thriving in that truth. I want to help you do the same, friend. You’ll find many helpful posts on introversion on the blog, from how to survive the holidays as an introvert to my confessions of an introvert series. Dig in!
Blogging: I’ve been blogging for the past 2 years, and it has grown from a post-grad hobby to a serious passion of mine. If I’m not binge-watching one of my favorite shows on Netflix on a rainy day, chances are, I’m researching and reading countless articles on blogging or social media marketing. I’m obsessed. (They say admitting it is the first step…) I love discussing and writing about blogging with my fellow online influencers and helping each other grow and improve.
If you feel like this is the space you’ve been searching for, I would so love to get to know you better through my monthly newsletter. It’s self care + lifestyle inspo delivered to your email one Saturday morning a month.
P.S. It goes great with your morning cup of coffee. Just sayin’.
