Lovely Lavender Plus was kind enough to send me several of their products to use in the following review. All opinions expressed are my own. You can read more of my disclosure policy here.
When it comes to the products I use on my face and body in my self care routine, I tend to be very picky. I’m a curly girl, so my hair always calls the shots (my hair can be a real diva), and usually conventional products just don’t cut it. I also have sensitive skin, so I need to be careful what items I use on a daily basis.
Gross chemicals, unpronounceable ingredients…I ain’t about that life.
I’m gonna be real…I’m a HUGE product junkie. I’ve seen and tried it all. I’ve also been dissatisfied with the majority of commercial products that are available.
Which is why I was so excited when Lovely Lavender Plus reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in trying out some of their popular products.
Lovely Lavender Plus is one of those companies that has you lifting your hands in praise when you finally stumble upon them because they’re based on healthful ingredients and genuine care for their customers.
It doesn’t get any better than that.

“Made with all natural ingredients and love…by Marie”
Founded by natural product lover Marie, Lovely Lavender Plus puts the quality of the products as the highest priority.
[…] I accompany my mother as she travels to find the best ingredients. Whether it be Seven Oaks Lavender Farm, or an English garden in colonial Williamsburg. She genuinely enjoys making her products and pours so much love into everything she makes. — testimonial, Lovely Lavender Plus
“Handmade Soaps are good for your body.”
It’s always important to pay close attention to the types of products and ingredients that you’re putting on your skin. After all, our skin is our largest organ, and the types of things we are exposed to in our environment can positively (or negatively) affect our skin as well as our overall health.
I try to look for beauty products that are healthy for both me and the environment. Lovely Lavender Plus products:
- are individually hand made from essential oils, plants and all natural ingredients
- have a vegetable base
- contain no detergents or dyes
- are colored from minerals
- use no preservatives
- are cured for six weeks at a time
- and are minimally packaged to reduce waste.
Many commercial soaps use toxic chemicals and preservatives and release detergents into our water supply. Handmade soaps are good for your body and promote a sustainable environment through a healthy lifestyle choice. — Lovely Lavender Plus
Of the above products that I’ve tried, my favorites are by far the My Positive Energy Pure Body Butter and the Chamomile with Lavender Face Bar. Each product from Lovely Lavender Plus feels so luxurious — even in the package! You can tell that careful care and design went into each item to ensure the quality standards were met.
And can we talk about the scents??
In one word? Calming.
The essential oils do their job and do it well. Whether I’m washing my face at the end of a long day or rubbing the body butter into my skin after a shower, the fragrances of these products seem to have a natural relaxing effect. The My Positive Energy Pure Body Butter (also available in the following fragrances: Coconut Shea, Lavender, Tea Rose, Man You Smell Good, Cool Water for Men, Mango and Warm Vanilla — YUM!) literally seems to melt into the skin. I could also see this product working great as a cream or balm for those of us with curly or extra dry hair.
Yup, I said hair. What? Have you never used a body butter in your hair before?
If the answer is no, you could be missing out. 😉
With testimonials and reviews touting the healthy effects on eczema, hair care, and beyond, the products from Lovely Lavender Plus help heal a variety of issues all while feeling super indulgent.

As I mentioned before, I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that requires a lil’ extra lovin’ and TLC. After searching for years for those “holy grail” products for my skin care routine, I finally put together a combination of products that keeps my skin happy and looking its best.
But I love finding new items to add into my routine when I feel my skin could use some extra pampering.
Enter the Chamomile with Lavender Face Bar.
I have fairly oily skin, and this face bar does a good job at removing excess oil without leaving my skin feeling parched. It lathers and removes my makeup easily — even my stubborn mascara! After the first time using it, I woke up to soft, balanced skin.
According to Lovely Lavender Plus, chamomile contains skin-healing properties and lavender has antibacterial benefits, making this face bar gentle enough for all skin types. If you have dryer skin, I recommend you use this bar on a weekly basis instead of daily.
I love finding new products to supplement my skin care routine, especially when the products are as healthy as these!
